About Me
I have left this section blank for a while to avoid people identifying me but I am growing less concerned about that now. I am a teacher, I have done some training as a counsellor and am very interested in this area. I joined D.S. because I was raped (I have written about this in my journal in January 2009)through this site I have found so much support and have been able to identify with others and feel less alone. I also have had issues with alcoholism and self harm and have found support here for these issues too. I'm a vegetarian, I enjoy indie music, Paulo Coelho books and one of my favourite films at the moment is 'Little Miss Sunshine'

Nature, walking, reading and lots of other stuff that I never get around to doing much! I have just got a really cheap digital camera and am enjoying taking pictures again, its soemthiing that I find completely absorbing

Close Rape
I was raped while on holiday in 2004. I had other experiences on that holiday and in my past that could be classed as rape but I am having a hard time discribing them as such
Treatments
- Rape Counseling Working / Worked
- I have had some unhelpful comments from counsellors such as telling me that I take too many risks (in my first session) but overall I think this has saved my life
