Close Fibromyalgia
No story really. Took me two years of constant pain, before my doctors would diagnose me with FM. I have metabolic syndrome X, and degenerative disc disease. (bulging disk in my neck).I have a fantastic doctor that listens to me, and acts as if he really cares.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Somewhat Helpful
- Started it a few years back for anxiety and depression. I never noticed it helping for my pain then, but combined with Lyrica, it just might be. No side affects that I can tell.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- Lyrica, together with cymbalta, I feel..that it is helping to keep my every day pain levels tolerable more or less. Still doesn't begin to touch my flares!
- Neurontin Not Working
- All Neurotin did was make me sleep. More than I did with my bouts of fatigue. Still had alot of pain, but ..would just sleep..
- Darvon Working / Worked
- Was given it to take three times a day when my pain was sever.
