My EEG results came back normal, too. I guess I should be glad, and I am mostly, but I still have questions. If it wasn't a seizure that sent me to the emergency room, what was it? My neurologist calls it a "spell", and thinks that it may be migraine-related, since we know that I have migraines. Sometimes, you can have a migraine aura without the headache. I looked up some of the possible symptoms and they seem to fit: olfactory hallucinations, vertigo, nausea, vomiting, ringing in the ears, sensitivity to light and sound, and some memory loss. O.K., I can see that, but I don't want it to happen again. I asked my neuro if I should just go ahead and take my migraine medicine if I start having these symptoms again, but he said that the medicine is really only good against pain, and that's the one thing I didn't have.
Well, I'll just have go on about my business and hope for the best (as usual) and be glad that it doesn't look like I have a seizure disorder.

Marian,
It seems like you are on constant highs and lows with your health lately. You sound so optimistic about one thing and then another comes along. It just doesn't seem fair when other things in your life are so wonderful. As long as you keep this great attitude that you always have you will do all right, I just know it. I keep up through your blog and other places. we sure are having fun aren't we. Let's just keep going shall we? Sass

Absolutely, Sass! It's a roller coaster ride one way or another anyway, right? Wheeeee!!! . In good health or bad, the important part is to remember to have a good time regardless, I think.
