      I have had Systemic Lupus (SLE)for over 21 years. The last few years I have been in remission. Thank God. The doctors are dropping my prednisone very slowly. My husband has been a rock. In October I lost my best friend my confidant Cody my Border Collie. He stuck close to me thru thick and thin. Even had a hospital pass to visit me. He's in my thoughts all the time. I have a paternal Aunt that has had Lupus for over 50 years. Now my cousin is having blood work done. 4 generations

      no problems
      Keflex Working / Worked
      Plaquenil Working / Worked
      I have had no problems with the drug 400mg
      Prednisone Working / Worked
      down to 4mgs per day When first on it, I gained over 70 lbs. Still have a weight problem

    • Close Alopecia Areata

      I'm 55 yrs old & started loosing my hair 19 years ago. It started very slowly & during the years it started to be noticeable. The problem started on the top of my head. I went to a dermetologist & started having injections. My scalp started scaring with red blotches and dry skin. My left side started doing the same. Now, today I have an area of 6"x4" wide on top missing hair & 2 1/2" round on left side with no hair. I wear hats when around the house & wear wigs the rest of the time.

      I have had Lupus for over 22 yrs. I get shooting pain in my shoulders, arms and now my lower back.. Like hot spots. My Rheumy says I have Fibro. Took accupuncture for it. These days I seem to be in more pain, especialy in the morning. Now my legs and hips have joined the hip parade too.

      I've had Raynaudas for years, at least 15 yrs. I get the cold white fingers that some time pain. Also my feet are always cold. Hard to bend the toes. Even my nose is cold and I always have a runny nose.
