My mom lives with me and my 24 year old daughter, her husband and their 17 mo. old daughter.They are expecting a boy in late Aug.My husband and I have 6 children.His three, my two and our one and a total of 10 gkids. Guess you could say we are a "Brady Bunch" of sorts.He is retired but likes to "play" part time at Auto Zone and i am retired for medical reasons.

It is great your doc is helping you with weight loss. Most just say lose weight and leave you on your own.
I also turned 60 at the end of October - I started losing weight in October, 2007, after high cholesterol and glucose levels after a visit to the doctor. I have lost 80 pounds and am now officially NOT overweight for the first time in probably 30 years. Yes, you can do this. I feel great and have way more energy than I ever expected. I am retiring in June so now I am all set to go! I only have one daughter (no sons) so I am a bit jealous of your large family but we take what God gives us.
