oh Tricia,i am so sorry to hear your news,i hope your docs can help you ,i know what you must be going through,my lovely sil has lung cancer,it has knocked us all off our axis,she has been on a course of cancer tablets,which have not worked ,so she has to start chemo next week,she has been told the same as you,she was given 12 to 13 months and that was just over six months ago,if this chemo works for her she will hopefully have a few extra months with us all,i am already praying for you my friend and will continue to do so ,you know i am here to listen whenever you need to talk or vent,my problems are negligable compared to yours and my sil and others like you,keep strong tricia,love and gentle hugs ,helen.
