2002: @ age 48 chemo, surgery & radiation (in that order)

Chemotherapy Working / Worked

3 sessions to reduce size of mass. Needed Nexium to relieve reflux ( worked great), hated the taste of the Zofran communion wafers.

Femara Working / Worked

Nolvadex Working / Worked

5 years, hot flashes

Radiotherapy Working / Worked

-caused fatique that persisted for months -moderate skin burns that healed quickly -still have some chest muscle cramping on affected side -decreased sensation of remaining breast tissue (I could be touching my elbow)

Surgery Working / Worked

partial mastectomy,no reconstruction, breast is half the size of the other and is kinda funny looking. Oh well.

Taxotere Working / Worked

they gave me steroids before the chemo that included this.
