Hi, Im 27 & suffered a missed miscarriage on the 30/04/08, finding out when I thought I was just over 10 weeks that the baby had stopped developing at around 6.5 weeks.It was a heartbreaking time as it had taken us a year to get pregnant. I've been married for 4 years in August to a man who has been there for me & been my rock thru the whole thing. I then fell pregnant again in July 08 & gave birth to my amazing little girl on April 2nd 2009. After a shakey start we have now got to know eachother & Im loving every second of being a Mummy!! She is the most increadible thing to have come into my life and words simply cannot describe just how much I love her & love being a family!

I like going out with my friends when I can, they are very important to me, , spending time with my husband & watching TV. Love being out in the countryside & spending time with my family and now looking after my little girl, Imogen :)

Yeah it's pretty awful being away from her. In the US we only get up to 12 weeks of leave....it sure went by too quickly. We're working on me being a SAHM....Nick (DH) was playing the "Mr Mom" part but neither of us think it's working so he put resumes in to several places and hopefully it won't take long. It's even harder for me now being at work, I didn't want to go back at all (I love my job but I love being a mom even more) so it was really hard but 2 days of being there and I got offered a promotion.....ugh. I took it for my benefit since I don't know when I'll get to quit, but even though it's what I've wanted for 3 years I just don't care anymore. I'm just counting the days until I can be at home again. I've never looked into childcare for other kids....I'd be terrified of taking care of other people's kids LOL. I may see if I can just do part time at work, but I don't even know if I want to do that. I plan on BF for as long as possible, preferably the full year....but at my job now, I barely get time to pump during the day (I get 1, maybe 2 times in a 9 hour stretch) so I'm afraid I'll dry up. I really just want to be home....I keep praying that Nick will get hired somewhere b/c I hate not being there for her :(
Anyway....how's little Immy doing? Is she feeling all better? Emily has a cold now, she's had the sniffles & coughing for over a week now. She seems ok though, but I just hate that she's so uncomfortable :( Is your new niece here yet? I can't remember if your sis is still pregnant of if she had the baby yet!!-

Brookie got tall outta nowhere too. My best friend gave me her son's old jumper a few weeks ago and she LOVES it. She can almost sit now, too! My love to you and Immy.

Close Miscarriage
I came off the pill in april 07 and started trying for a baby. We found out we were expecting in March 08 but unfortuately when I had a scan at 10 wks it showed the baby stopped developing at 6.5 wks. We are absolutely heartbroken. We are currently ttc again but Im scared of being pregnant incase it happens again.
Treatments
- D&C Working / Worked
- After having my D&C or ERPC (Evacuation of Reatained Products of Conception) I then got an infection in the lining of my womb which was treated with strong antibiotics which eventually cleared it up. I then went on to get a kidney infection which,again, was treated with antibiotics. I was off work for a total of 6 weeks after my D&C.
Close Depression
I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago & though I havent been told Im suffering with depression,I fell so totally down & heartbroken right now
Open Pregnancy
I fell pregnant with my first baby in february 2008 but unfortunately suffered a missed miscarriage & had a D&C at the end of April. I found out a few days ago that I am pregnant with my second baby (tho its still VERY early days!) and me & my husband are so happy,tho Im very anxious at the same time!Update: Things are going really well with this pg & Im currently 21wks. Im so looking forward to meeting my baby in April.

My nan died from lung cancer not long before I was born. My aunty has had breast cancer & survived. My mum has also had breast cancer (in 2005) and had her lyph nodes & also left brast removed. Thankfully is has never returned.
