About Me
I'm 34, single and working in L&D in a telco firm in Sydney. Was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis four years ago and find it very frustrating at times. To counteract this I do a lot of swimming and aqua aerobics, walking when my knee is not bad and meditation. Looking for a bright light at the end of the tunnel - being positive helps, but would like a bit more help from the medical world!

I’m With You
I have RA and am also on Humira and 20 mg MTX. MTX used to make me sick for two days, but I feel much less nausea if I spread the dose throughout the day (one pill when I wake up, one at breakfast, etc.) and drink lots of water. As for Humira, a nurse from the insurance co. made it sound like a miracle drug, so I expected fast results. I did NOT get immediate relief, but I felt much better after about 3 months. Hope it works for your PsA. Debra
Good Luck
Please stay and let us know how your progress is. In the USA they are very tight on pain drugs. As you found out when you take a pain drug you get a tolerance for it and need more. This can be dangerous. Listen ti DOC.
I’m With You
Read your post in the arthritis forum and it helped to read some else's weight gain from the Prednisone. I gained a lot and people notice.
