Type: Genital HerpesI've been promiscuos since my senior year in high school, for some reason I needed attention and decided that sex was the easiest way to get it. I moved to Texas from MI and didn't have any friends....I met the wrong guy from a computer hook up site and he ended up giving me genital herpes. It started by me getting a bad fever and horrible open sores on my private area. It burned so bad when I used the bathroom or washed up. I got diagnosed, prescribed some medicine, and it finally went away.

I have a boyfriend and we've been exclusive since September 2007. I've moved in with him since March 2008, and I'm so in love. Love is nothing what I thought it would be like, but I accept it and look forward to the future. We argue, and don't agree about everything, and sometimes I get scared and have second thoughts. This group is awsome, cuz it shows me that I'm not alone.

My mom and my dad just couldn't get along. After 7 years an 2 kids later they split. My dad didn't want to give my mom money, she couldn't afford us, s she put my sister and I in the foster home. She kept my half sister, who is 5 years older than me, I was 3 at the time. My sister and I stayed in the system for 1 year and my dad's parents adopted us. I finally met my mom when I was 19, and it answered a lot of questions.
