Close ADHD / ADD
I was formally diagnosed with ADD when I was 21. I have always had a problem paying attention, but was the master of multi-tasking. I was the kid that had their mother talk to my teachers on the first day of school and explain that I had an attention problem, but always maintained good grades. It began to be overwhelming when I went to college and was working full time. I was not able to manage all of it and felt like my ADD was controlling me.

- Adderall Working / Worked
- Works Great!!! Has been working like a dream!
- Concerta Somewhat Helpful
- Second medicine that I tried and it seemed to bring on my underlying depression.
- Strattera Somewhat Helpful
- It was the first drug I was on and it seemed to help a little but it seemed as if it began to wear off.
Close Asthma
Type: Adult AsthmaI was diagnosed with asthma when I was 12 years old. It was a hot, muggy day and I noticed that it felt as if someone was sitting on my chest. I informed my physical education teacher and he insisted that I was trying to get out of class, which I NEVER did. He made me participate and I ended up passing out and my lips were discolored. I was taken to the urgent care facility and immediately given medication.
Treatments
- Advair Working / Worked
- I am supposed to use this everyday, but I only use it during flu season. I do not like the prolonged use of corticosteroids.
- Inhaler Working / Worked
- I ALWAYS have a rescue inhaler with me at all times.
- Singulair Working / Worked
- DAILY! LOVE IT! One stop shopping. I have severe allergies as well, which most of you know does not work well with asthma.
Open GERD & Heartburn
Diagnosed with GERD after 7 years of misdiagnosis and chronic reflux. It took a simple endoscopy and daily meds to aid my problem.

- Aciphex Working / Worked
- Great med! I love it. I can eat most anything I want...Except Garlic LOL
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- I avoid onions and garlic....will prevoke such an attack I would feel like I was having a heart attack.
- Nexium Somewhat Helpful
- It was ok. I could tell it wasnt 100%
- Prevacid Not Working
- HAHA like taking a placebo....NADA
- Prilosec Not Working
- was a Joke for my problem
Open Depression
I have battled depression since I was about 19 years old. I have been through so much in my life and kept it in that it seemed to consume me. I have found the best treatment to be psychotherapy.

- Lexapro Working / Worked
- I love Lexapro. It works well for me and I do not feel as if I am emotionless.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- nothing beats a good talk.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- worked well and then the depression and anxiety seemed to worsen.
