We will keep things the same Mood
Monday, September 14, 2009 | A Rambling story

Dear Journal Buddy;  Last night I talked to our friend  Cathy in Florida.  The woman, Betty who was running the RV park with her husband  John passed away. She got sick just after we got there last winter.  John went back to Pennsylvania to bury Betty but never returned to Florida.  Cathy says the site we stayed on last winter is under 2 feet of water. The 90 year old woman who stays across the street was flooded out. We are going to call there today to make our reservations for this winter. Cathy is so excited we are coming back and I am too. We enjoy her and Dennis and her sister Helen and her hubby Mr. Bill.  Helen had a health problem this past summer but hopefully it is fixed and she will be okay.  She was tired all the time and went to see the doctor.  She ended up having a shunt put in for her heart. At first it was not helping but found out it was the meds she was taking. Now things are better and we will see her again this winter. Dennis is in Pennsylvania too. He had to go back home because his legs were giving him problems. He is 68 years old. Steve, Howard and Dennis go to Daytona  for the car race together when we are in Florida.Staying at this Rv park keeps things the same. We know the area, people, shopping and dining. Steve feels good about pulling the 5th wheel because he knows the roads too and where to go.

Everything seems to have changed since my brain blew.  Steve got rid of my car, my place of employment moved, Steve retired, my brother passed away,my older brother is thinking of coming out of retirement, businesses we used to go to are no more. Can not do things as I used to. Is it just the way things are with time or am I missing something? Hopefully, I will make sense of all this next year.  Time heals and I still need time. I try to tell myself to really think about what I would be doing if I had not had a ruptured annie and most of the time I am doing exactly that. When we get our age, we are not running around doing all kinds of things. Most of us have retired and settled down to a slower pace. I have never been one to do nothing, just sit around in the sun or watch TV. I had to be busy all the time. Again, one day as time goes bye. Well buddy, the pool guys are coming to close it so I have to go. Need to vacumn it out and get things out for them. Thanks again , later. Sept. 14 09.

    Dear Carol,
For me it seems as if time stood still when my annie blew but unfortunately it doesn't so that when we are again conscious of time it is like we are Rip Van Wrinkle and slept time away. This is normal. Eric
