Journal Entry for September 15, 2009 Mood
Tuesday, September 15, 2009 | A General Update story

Just wanted so say, "Thank you" for your prayers!  Yesterday will be a day that I will never forgot!  My cousin's daughter past because there was a blood clot in the umbilical cord.  So when she went into labor the clot caused lack of oxygen and blood flow.  She was a beautiful little girl, she looked like her sister.  My heart goes out to them!

Thank you!

Love ya lots~

Please say a Prayer for my cousin Mood
Friday, September 11, 2009 | A Tragic story

Wow, I'm still  in shock, in a daze...

My cousin Jamie had 3 previous miscarriages and in the Spring she announced she was 20 weeks pregnant and having a baby girl.  Her due date is September 20th.  I got a text message this morning that they were on the way to the hospital.  So I was so happy that little Taylor will be here.  I kept checking my facebook page to see if there was a message from them but nothing.  I called up her SIL to see if she heard anything and all I got was "You haven't heard", well right then my heart just stopped.  When they got to the hospital they could not find Taylor's heartbeat.  I've been sitting here for the past 3 hours not knowing what to do, I still can't believe it.  What do I say, what do I do, I'm at a total loss.  Their two other children where so exciting before they left for school because they knew when that got home their new little sister would be here.

Please if anyone has advise for me, let me know what I can do for them, I could really use it right now.

Thank you all~

Paula

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. That's so devastating. I think the best thing you can do is just be there for her. They're in my thoughts.

oh my heaven Pechevarria! I do not know if there is anything anyone can say when you lose a child that you planned for, dreamed about, etc. I pray that you and your family feel the Lord's loving arms around you as he carries you through the valley ahead. I don't know if they do this where you are, but actually allowing Mom, Dad, and siblings to hold little Taylor is sometimes very helpful to the grieving process. The siblings are not left to imagine horrible things and sometimes can more easily visiualize little Taylor up in heaven with the other angels singing to Jesus!! What a terrible accident to happen!! Hugs!! Cindi

Thank you all for your prayers. My cousin was actually allowed to hold her and dressed her. They said she was a beautiful little girl 6lbs and alot of black hair. It is to my understanding that something happen to the umbilical cord, their was a blue spot in to meaning she was lacking oxegan. It most of happen in the past day or 2 because my sister saw her on Wednesday and said Jamie looked great, glowing and happy. They will be having a service and her burial will be on Monday. I feel like I'm having a bad nightmare and I will wake up and everything will be fine. Living in New York I remember 9/11/01 and how tragic it was and when I got the text that they were in route to the hospital I just thought, Wow I have 2 sweet girls born on this day. (My niece was born on 9/11/01). Taylor is with my little Angel who would have been 1 on September 25th.
    Thank you all again!!
