Just curious. Has anyone had to go on insulin after their transplant? And how long did they remain on…

Open Diabetes Type 1
Hi. My name is Annie. My husband had a liver transplant in Dec. and has since developed diabetes (I'm told it's a common side effect of the meds) Anyway, he's on 12 units of insulin nightly. He's suppose to use coverage during the day if the readings are over 150. (2 units 151-200, 4 units 201-251 etc.) He hasn't been using the coverage in the past 6 weeks. Anyway, glad to be reading you alls advice and experiences. Thanks
