my husband Jack died on the 8th November 2008. He had been suffering from colon cancer but after 7 cycles of chemo and with good scan results we were really looking forward to xmas and 2009. On Saturday 8th November after feeling a little rough Jack collapsed and died we later discovered it was due to a blood clot on the lung probably caused by the chemo. It's so unfair he was 64 and would have been 65 on 22/11/08, we were together for 27yrs married for 11 of them and i loved him very much
I lost my husband Jack, on the 8th Nov 2008. He had been suffering from colon cancer which was deemed terminal, but after 7 cycles of chemo the tumour had shrunk and we were feeling positve for the future, thinking we maybe had a few years rather than months. Suddenly after feeling a bit off on saturday 8th November 2008 Jack died and my whole world collapsed. We have since found out that it was a blood clot on the lung most likely a complication of the chemo. It's so hard to be without him.
