I have asthma, hypertension, fatty liver, inflamation of the esophagus (cannot take the medication to heal it any more), GERD caused by hiatus hernia, swollen glands for nearly three years and other symtoms which my GP suggests could be Sjogren's Syndrome. I also am now in the position whenever I take medication by pills I suffer bad urine retention. Once I stop taking medication I feel ok.

Having lost over a stone in weight and going to the gym when I can my BP is coming down a bit.

I have slipped a little this last wek or two although am still attending the gym bt had to give it a miss as strained myslef and my bad knee hurt but …

Although I dont write a great deal in my journal i am still working at my weight loss even tough its not coming off as quick as I hoped.

I had the same experience. My cystoscopy revealed extra capillaries and blood vessels in my bladder wall and that was it. There wasn't enough evidence to meet the criteria for being diagnosed with IC yet I had all the symptoms. Just because there is no visual evidence of IC on the camera does not mean you are not dealing with a disease. I treated myself for IC and candida naturally and am getting well. What seem to be your symptoms?

I have been overweight all of my adult life and have no idea what it feels like to be thin. I have now reached the stage where my weight is putting me in bad health.
No matter what medication I take after a few weeks it causes my bladder to hurt and I have great difficulty passing urine. I have had scans on kidney and bladder, kidney xray and bladder examation and nothing has been found.
Whenever I take pills long term I start getting urine retention which builds up over a period of time. Once I stop taking the pills I go back to normal after a while. My GP has no idea why this is happening. i have had a camera in bladders and kidney and b;ladder scans and nothing shows up.
