Was dx with pancreatitis in July 2007 and it quickly became chronic. Has taken over two years but it has settle down for now. Had an NJ tube for close to 6 months and a J tube for 4 months. Had my gall bladder removed which seemed to cause more problems and had a pseudo cyst for months.

I am not sure what medicines I will be on because I take vicodine for break through pain right now. I am on oxycodone 15 mg ( the long lasting one) twice a day, and I try not to take it everyday so I won't get addicted to them. It seems it is an endless cycle though, I can go usually about 1 1/2 weeks without the pain meds and then I will need all of them , So I don't know if I am doing something right or not. My doctor said it is not a large amount of pain meds and not to worry but I still do.
Hi just wanted to say that I have been watch what they plan to do with these medicines too. I don't know what to say about all this. Nancy
I am doing great hope all is well with you. !
I just wanted to let you know you are in my prayers, I don't have what you are talking about, I on the other hand have a high white blood count which they dx as CLL it is in remission right now. I am taking medicine to bring down my auto immune system which could cause my white blood count to go down, but it hasn't yet. Just wanting to wish you well and let you know I'll be praying for you.
I was first diagnosed with Acute pancreatitis in July of 2007. It has developed into chronic pancreatitis. Have been in the Hospital a lot but the gall bladder removal may have helped if it wasn't for that pesky pseudocyst!!
