hi cindy, of course i would like to be your friend, it does sound silly, i know. wow, 2 teens, but that's good, now you have you childrearing done almost and yuo can do for yourself. i'll be 40 in aug., my youngest is 5, but i have to try to get a life, can't wait till she's 18 for that!!!!!!

I have a 15 year old daughter. I have been raising her on my own since she was 8 months old. Her dad is in and out of her life very inconsistently and when he does find the time for her it usually sends her in a tailspin of anger, depression and defiance. I am trying to teach her that he loves her to the best of his ability. This is not an easy thing to do!

I have an 8 year old and a 15 year old from separate fathers. Neither father is involved. My 8 year old's father hasn't visited him in over 3 1/2 years and hasn't called in at least a year. My 15 year old's father is in and out of her life. He is never consistent and seldom makes time for just her. If he does visit, he usually makes sure that he has a friend, his brother, or his girlfriend around.
