  Hi Caroline. I felt like crying when I read about what has happened to you. You must feel very angry towards your husband. I know I would. If someone really does love you,they stay with you through thick and thin. I am lucky in that respect. I don't think my husband would go even if I put a bomb under him(only joking). I know my pain affects both my husband and son,and I feel guilty that I can't do very much with them and they also don't like seeing me suffer all of the time. I can't spend too long shopping as just walking around can increase the pain. I used to be a fairly active person but I can't go for walks anymore,ride a bike,play sport or anything that involves moving my body or that is fun. It's a pity we don't live closer to each other. I was wondering whether or not the US has a financial support system like Australia has. I am currently on what is called a Disability Support Pension. I had to go through a medical with a government doctor,fill in forms etc. but I was granted the pension and also a Health Care Card. This enables me to get my medication at a much reduced price. I do however have to phone in my husband's fortnightly income and have a review every 2 years. Please keep in touch. I would really like to be your friened! Hang in there and take care! Wendy
