About Me
I am 38 years old, married with a newborn. I'm a high school English teacher. I have my husband, a Puggle named Nate, my father, two older brothers, and two nephews and a "neph-dog" named Scout, whom I adore. My mom used to lovingly call me her "fungus" because we were so close and I was always clinging to her giving her hugs!!! She was my best friend; my absolute world. I told her everything. When she got sick, I helped a lot with her care. She passed away Feb. 20, 2007 and I am miserable without her. I feel as though part of me died when she did and I'll never be the same.

How are things in Boston? Giving Mommy and Daddy something new to think about every day!?!
Seems like Mr. Winter will be stopping by pretty soon, so you can get to play in the snow and watch the most beautiful snowflakes as they float about outside of your window.
Take care of yourself, keep on growing big and strong and give Mommy and Daddy lots of kissies and huggys; not to mention superduper belly laughs.

You are eating RICE CEREAL now! WOW!!! Tell Mommy to put a little more cinnamin in the applesauce and make really silly faces when you try it. Otherwise it won't be any fun when I send you your very own apple trees next year!

Type: Loss of a ParentMy mother had COPD. Was doing better (I thought) but then got rushed to the hospital the end of January and was put on a ventilator. Her heart was too weak to sustain her and she passed on February 20th.
