Healing SLOW but SURE...

Update- still trying to heal incision after fall and infection. Wound is closed over but Dr. said today that the healing is not mature …

New amputee- below knee, left leg- less than one month ago. Former golf professional. Recently licensed Southern Baptist minister. Would enjoy conversing with fellow amputees. I would like to get a prosthetic leg as soon as possible. Currently in size 5 shrinker sock. How soon should I expect to go down to the size 3.5 I have on hand? How soon did you achieve a prosthetic limb? I will enjoy talking with male or female. Thanks, Dave

Hang in there. I do a journal at home and read my" in motion" magazine alot. From my amputation till I got my leg I followed my progress/setbacks with a camera and when I get real depressed I look at how far I've come, it works most of the time.Have A good day.
