Oh well so much for not worrying. I went to the breast surgeon today to follow up on the enlarged lymphnode by my supraclavicle area. He stated since it did not go down with the antibiotics, he wants to do a needle aspiration in the hospital this week. He stated it feels like a lymphnode and could be from the previous surgery (s/p lymphnode dissection) and thats how it ended up by the clavicle area but he wants to test it. i asked him for a pet scan but he stated that the needle aspiration would be more accurate because sometimes the petscans are false. My husband is away this week and so here I sit like a pathetic person. At least I have my dog here to comfort me. On top of this enlarged lymphnode, I have an abscessed tooth and an earache. This is so pittiful. Thanks for letting me vent.

I am sorry that things seem to be pitiful for you right now. I know how it feels. Like the old saying "When it rains it pours." You are a strong and deserving woman. It is perfectly okay to me that you vented. I have come here plenty of times to do the same.....I hope you feel better soon, and please keep me informed on the results from your latest tests. I go back to my 1st oncology followup in the am for my results from the last CAT scan and bloodwork. So lets pray for each other......
