Close Back Pain
Fractured 3 thoracic vertebrae January '07 as a result of osteoporosis, and am still having a lot of pain. Have lost nearly 3" in height and many days can only walk bent forward from the waist, other days I just have the signature 'hump' of Osteo!
Treatments
- Flexeril Somewhat Helpful
- Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
- for breakthru
- Morphine Somewhat Helpful
- BUT and a HUGE but, it establishes me as a drug seeker, and that is a life sentence, some trade off eh?
- Nerve Blocks Somewhat Helpful
- Short lived results,and only partial relief at that, maybe 2 wks after ea set!
Close Fibromyalgia
.....same old.....same old... symptoms forever.....not named until excaborated by a car accident and even then only with the usual stigma!!!

- was wonderful when I had access to the hottub. alas no longer. Substitute hot packs before stretching & exercises now.
- Effexor Working / Worked
- this & effexor each had limited results, for a short time only. then none.
