Close Bipolar Disorder
I have been with my husband for 7 years. We have 5 children together. A couple years ago he was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. It has been hard and there have been many ups and downs. I try to be as supportive as I can so that's why I'm reaching out for advice by joining this website. I have been to Dr.'s appointments with him and have always been there to listen when he was at his lowest. Lately it seems there are way more lows than highs. He has several stages of mania just in one day where in most cases stages of mania usually don't happen tha often. He goes from being semi-happy to being so angry at the world he's ready to go off the deep end. We are trying to work on things and get him the help he needs and trying to find the right medicines to help him. We are having a hard time with all of this. I'm here to share our story and hopefully someone else's story can inspire us.
