I am a single mom of two boys, I have been dating a wonderful man for about 7 months now. The problem is when we met we both would go gambling for entertainment and without fail created debt, stress and regret. We are doing good but want to quit completely and have decided to try reaching out to others that can relate to our situation. Our goals are to be become GF, get out of debt, become strong in out venture and hopefully help someone else someday that is in the same spot we are in now.
MY DAD DIED OF LUNG CANCER WHEN I WAS 17 YEARS OLD AND MY MOTHER IS THE SURVIVOR OF LUNG RESECTION FROM LUNG CANCER. I HAVE SEEN A STRONG VIBRANT WOMAN WHO USED TO GET AROUND GREAT THAT CAN BARELY WALK TO THE KITCHEN WITHOUT GASPING FOR AIR. ITS VERY FRUSTRATING WATCHING A PARENT DETERIORATE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES. I THINK THIS MAY BE A GOOD WAY OF REALIZING YOUR NOT ALONE.
For this support, My boyfriend and I are both trying to quit smoking. We are both 40 years old and want to have a heathier lifesytle as non smokers. We havent used any medications, just cold turkey so far. Sometimes its easier than others. We would also like to get any suggestions of what seems to help curb the cravings without replacing it with food. Any ideas? Thanks Georgia and Jamie
I am 40 years old, have recently quit smoking and I already need to lose 20 pounds so I have decided to day to start a goal to lose 20 pounds while along with my quit smoking goal.
