You are so right. Human error - it's inexcusable to me when someone's life is at stake, but many people in healthcare just don't care. I hope God can explain this to us when we meet up with Him. Your supportive words really help me. Thank you. Let me know how things are going with you.

Just what you said happened today. The social came through with a number of facilities near where we live. We just have to go look at them. It's going to be expensive, but anything for my father. The very sad news is that the doctor said my father will never get any better because he had too much bleeding in the frontal lobe; that could have been avoided if they had done a Cat scan right after he was admitted to the hospital as I begged them to do. Mickey Mouse hospitals and carelessness....Oh well, it's God's will. Thank you for your prayers and I will keep you in mine. You are a survivor. Hold on to your loved ones.

    Gamgam,
Thank you for your kind & caring words. The neuro said I have peripheral neuropathy, but I'm not diabetic, thank God, don't need to add anything else to my list. I hope that you're having a good day!

Thank you for your insightful words and kindness. It is true that family members do try to try to gloss over the grief of someone they love, but I agree with you in that it's something that has to take place. I think it's natural since it's what I'm feeling, at present, yet I know my loved one mean well. In the meantime, I just want to say how much I appreciate the understanding and support I've gotten from this forum.
