Close Parkinson's Disease
I was diagnosed with PD in 2005 but was 1st diagnosesd with Essential tremors (tremors while you move or use your hands) in Spring of 2004. Most of my trouble comes with the tremors.
Treatments
- Mirapex Working / Worked
- Went on Mirapex right away after diagnosis. I don't have any problems with addictive behaviors.
- Sinemet Working / Worked
- Just started taking it in Dec. I've backed down to just one tablet because I didn't like the side effect I was seeing.
- CoEnzyme Q Working / Worked
- I take 1200 mg. per day. I THINK it's working. Not sure because I don't know what I'd be like if I didn't take it.
Close Parenting Teenagers (12-18)
Parent of a 22, 19 and 17 year old. Have 2 step-daughters, 25 and 21. Ex-spouse has done a lot of damage to my ability to parent my children (I have physical custody). I'm remarried to a great man for the past 12 years...he feels I have put up with abuse from my kids. Hard for him to watch! I'm not fond of teenagers at the present time!

Divorced abusive ex-husband in 1991. I remarried in 1995. Ex has never gotten over the "victim routine"...esp. w/kids!
