Sunday, July 5, 2009 | A General Update story
I'm running a bath am almost ready to indulge in a long soak!
Wow! this green colour is awesome!!!!

Last night I had a cocktail party at my place.  Hubby and kids flew to Vic for a wk Friday night.  I was so relaxed today, it was enjoyable to feel that!  Peaceful and content!
3 girls from work came over and one girlfriend that has bp'r like me.  It was FUN.

My Mum has been hanging out for me to tell her stuff!  She wants info (don't know what/why) but she took the seperation news hard.  She says he loves you and blah blah blah...  Not to sound disrespectful but she just is so old fashioned niave and has led a sheltered life.  Not looking fwd to calling her soon.  Has to be done.

It's highly likely your mom will never understand or be happy about your decision but you are taking care of yourself and that's what matters. ((hugs))

When Mom's like your and mine were young they stayed married no matter what. Today we know that we have rights and life is to short to be miserable. Don't do guilt it is a wasted emtion. NJ xo

Thanks both of you. Mum did get me irate. She says Matt loves me, was very supportive during my dx with bp e.t.c. blah blah..... And then......I held the phone away so I wouldn't but in and raise my voice! She says the devil likes to split famalies up and I'm letting him win! I so do not want to hear that! It's been a long hard wk for Mum (as I knew it would be) with my news being digested. I told her that she should accept and love me anyway and she said she'll always love me, loves us kids all the same. Then she rings me at midnight (her time) to get stuff off her chest!
