      From Jessie May 1, 2008

Michelle, I acquired systemic (in the bloodstream) MRSA after my mastectomy and the 1st symptom was pneumonia. It was rough and became critical, septic shock. Get yourself to a really good medical center! MRSA in the bloodstream becomes life-threatening very quickly. If your doctor isn't treating it urgently, get yourself to a major emergency room and request a blood test for systemic MRSA. I was treated with IV Vancomycin and lived to tell the tale, but many don't make it. I wish you the very best. Jessie

I have MRSA,I'm not sure how long I've had it. I've been hopitalized with pnemonia, just found out MRSA can cause that. I'm achy all the time. Fever off and on. Work just put me off again, because i'm contagous. I've been put on a pik line once and think i'm about to get another one. I just want to feel better and get rid of this crap.
