About Me
I am a single 52 year old grandmother working full time job that I have been at for 14 years. I am raising four beautiful grandsons 7,5,3 & 2. I am a christian and all the boys attend church. I was working two jobs however, I lost my part time job last May which has hurt finically. I had almost all my bills paid off and on my feet. However, now I am about to loose my home that I have been living in since 1998.

Oh sweetie. Sorry but your daughter has no right to bring someone else in rent free. How dare she do that to you? Time to start practicing some tough love. Start charging rent for starters. You are not doing ANYONE a favor letting them get away with this, including letting your grandsons see you being treated this way. Take it from me, I have watched my mother be a doormat for a long time. Hugs, Rosanne

Close Grandparents Raising Children
I am 52 raising four grandsons 7, 5, 3, & 2. I have been off and on for seven years. My daughter is now attending a college for MA and was doing so well. She was making A's and one B. This semester she moved another girl in with me and the boys. She does not pay anything nor does my daughter. However, she does supply food stamps for the boys, child care through an agency that helps with that and finally insurance for the boys. However, I am about to loose my house. No one will refinace me because I am 3 months behind and my credit is bad.
