Hey Y'all!

Great news, I am leaving on Monday the 11th for 3.5 weeks in CANADA!!!!  Home sweet Home

It has been years!  It will take me 2 days and 3 planes to get there but I am ready-I planned it this way so I can rest in between... It is 2000+/- miles from here...

For the last 3 years the Acadians (from New Brunswick) and the Cajuns (from Louisianna) have been planning this rendez-vous.  We are kin after all!  Google the Deportation of Acadians for more info.  I am so excited because it has been a long time since I went home and will see many folks I have not seen in years.

The Acadians and Cajuns got minority status here in the States which is something to celebrate in itself!

I had been planning to write an article entitled "Long-Term Disability, the things your lawyer will not tell you" but it will have to wait!  I will not have computer access up there (yes we have indoor plumbing!)

I miss all of ya's tho!

My son graduated from Emory University here in Atlanta day after Mother's Day and that was the greatest gift I have ever received!  He did it all on his own, in 4 years, while supporting himself...majored in German with minor in Linguistics.  Now he rests...rightly so, with the economy being what it is his whole family suggest he continue on with his studies so he is going to check into a Linguistics Graduate courses in Vienna, Austria as this is where he wants to end up going ... thanks for all the love and messages while I was gone.  Nice to know I am still wanted!
