Hi Terrin , I am blessed to have you as a new friend. And I know how you feel, I my self is wondering the same thing, I had 2 tumors removed back on December 4th of 2006, and its back. And the my brain doctor says he don't see me for a year, but yet I suffer from headaches, and my eyes -- cannot see very well, then I get so confused at times, and i loose my train of thoughts, concentration problems.
If I just continue living with this for a full year, makes me wonder 'what size will this tumor be in a year' and should I get a second opinion, even though the doctor I have "is suppose to be the best" and he does do good work. Still I wonder.

What a horrible thing to have happen. I just can't imagine being told to wait that long with a brain tumor. I would contact the clinic manager or patient relations. I work in a clinic and do scheduling and know that things can be changed. It's not like you have a hangnail or just new a routine checkup. If all else fails, try a different doctor. You might even want to try contacting the dr you had before and ask him what would be best for you to do. Maybe he will call someone who could rush things along for you. Call your insurance company and ask them who you can see. I know how hard it is to be strong and assertive when you afraid and vulnerable. Maybe you have a friend or relative who could make the call for you. I've found that if all else fails...threatening works. Such as - "If something goes wrong between now and November, my family will sue your &%% off". It's not a nice thing to do, but some things cannot wait, and brain tumors are something that can't wait 2 months. Best wishes to you.

Close Hysterectomy
I had to have a hysterectomy due to chronic pelvic pain and do to constant bleeding non stop.and also cause of other medical condition i have, I have been doing wonderful since then it helped the trouble i had for about 3 years prior to the surgerie.

- I had brain surgerie for mine and also was discovered that i had an astrositoma brain tumor at the age of 8 i am now 25 and seizure free but i would have anywhere from 90 to a 100 seizures a day.
- Tegretol Working / Worked
- I have been very control on tegretol before surgerie i was on about 37 different medictions.
Open Hydrocephalus
I have hydro. i was diagnosed at the age of 18 then about 20 i started having hearing loss i do have a spinal shunt ive never had trouble or shunt replacement yet and its been about 6 years since i had mine put in
