Sunday, May 4, 2008 | A General Update story
I weighed in today after my first week using DS (and really trying to commit to my goals).  Lost 2 pounds!  I'm so pleased.  I really want to do this the right way - slow and steady - so I am fine with 1-2 pounds per week.  I am happy because I had slip-ups this week and went out for dinner with friends last night and still had a good result.  I know if I try just a little more each week I will attain my goal of 20-25 pounds within 4 months or so. One of the best things has been logging into this site in the evening instead of snacking!

    Woo Hoo! Congrats on the weight loss AND for journaling! When I am feeling those hungar pangs I get on here and journal about it, or check in on my friends and the urge passes.
