2009 will be a most exciting year for me and my colleagues.

I am a naturopath who recovered from advanced Parkinson's disease and early stage Multi System Atrophy in 1998 after three years hard work. I work with many diagnosed with PD, MS and other "incurable" disorders who defy the odds and get better. Recovery IS possible

Thank you PD Free! I am still unable to find anybody here who is familiar with the "Aquas". I have had someone who wants me to try kangen water which involves a 'pricey' machine that "ionizes" your home water. I am thinking of just buying the "Aquas" myself.
PDFree, Thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge! You are a ray of hope for all of us! I am embarking on my own program to return to wellness- I am continuing to take Sinemet, but hope to reduce my usage. I am using meditation, relaxation, affirmations, excercise (weight training and aerobics), diet (organic, natural foods) , body work (have done this since 1991 with an excelent person who uses chakras, flower essences, etc), counseling to deal with various issues and fears, and I am now looking to add one more pieces-the Aquas- AND I would like to find a Homeopath here in New England who can help me with doses etc. At first, my husband said I was being unrealistic and might as well get a "witchdoctor" too! But as I add to "my wellness team" he has seen improvement in both my functioning and attittude! I have to go now, as I am teaching a "Bone Builders" course to a group of 10 ranging in age from 60 to 89! Again, THANK YOU , JOHN for giving us the tools to "get our lives back!!!" VTskier40
Thanks for your reply. I'll show it to my husband, but he doesn't even exercise and it's hard to push someone. but he has a bad ankle which he broke years ago, so it makes it difficult to walk very far. He can ride his bike though and will be doing some golfing soon, so that is helpful. I know that if we found cures for diseases, then it would put the drug companies out of business, but thankfully with the carbidopa and levodopa that he takes now, it has help considerably. Thanks again and I wish you luck in getting someone to listen to you.
Thanks for your wisdom and advice. I have your book also.
I hope you are doing well these days. I just wanted to let you know that the low dose of namenda (sp?) my dad is now taking is helping him so much with his mood swings, and cognitive ability also. I am amazed at how much it helps, although physically it is only helping my dad a little. At least it is very nice to see him smiling more and laughing too.
I developed advanced Parkinson's, diagnosed in 1995/6, but recovered after 3 years hard work. I am now a naturopath working with many people exhibiting PArkionson's and other neuro disorders. I beleiev we all have the power to be well.
