About Me

I am 45 years old. I live in Tennessee, but am originally from Detroit. I have 2 little dogs, a chihuahua and a chihuahua mix. My father was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. After further testing, it had spread to his brain and back. He is undergoing chemo and radiation right now, and I am lost. He lives in Florida. He doesn't want me to come visit for more than 2 days. He is terminal. UPDATE: JANUARY 31, 2009: My father passed away on December 29th, 2008. The chemo and radiation stopped the progress of the cancers in his lung, spine and brain, but he was unable to walk without assistance, and was tired all the time. At his 4 month check up after finishing treatment, his brain cancer had spread to multiple places and the Dr.'s gave him 1 month to live. He died 1 month later, almost to the day.
