Well, I ran tha gamut of grades on the three tests on Wednesday:
Colonoscopy...A+, which totally blew me away because the first time five years ago I had things that were told to me that are now no longer there, whhich should be there. Makes me wonder about the first doctor's findings????
EGD...B- C+, I have GERD and hitial hernia, no ulcer thou, so things aren't that bad.
Ultra-sound...F-, falied miserably. It appears as if I have a blood clot in my leg that for the time being is behind the knee, since it's arrival during Labor Day weekend and not knowing what it is it had moved to behind the knee. They wanted to admit me but said no. Spoke with doctor and we're trying outpatient treatment first. Which consists of getting on a blood thinner which can actuallu cause more blood clots and giving myself injections in the stomach of a drug that will bridge the clotting by making the blood thinner but not cause clots. Insurance wouldn't cover injections at $700.00. So had to workout something with drug store to give me enough to get through this morning's blood tests...at 320.00 out of my pocket.
Blood tests this morning, my levels are up, no more shots for the moment, no hospital for the moment, cut back on medicine and wait until Monday and have another blood test to see where things have leveled off at. So will find out this morning.
Found out half an hour before first two procedures that my insurance company hasn't paid one damn cent to any of the doctors, surgery, tests, hospital since I joined in January. Good Lord what the hell is going on????
Woke up this morning to the awful sounds of Zeus retching his lungs out, got him to vet, he's sick got some sort of thing going on, has to spend the night or the weekend. Do money for bill.
I'm totally wiped out financially, all the money that I had on credit cards is gone because of having to pay for procedures and medication. No more money saved to get out of here, rolled moeny to help cover next treatment of injections so for now I have a few pennies in the bank.
It never fucking ends!
