I don't need a test... Mood
Tuesday, September 8, 2009 | A Rambling story
to tell me that I have an ulcer! Good lord, what happened Sunday night confirmed that question. After eating a very mild dinner of salad with some chicken and a baked potato all hell broke loose in my upper GI. The bowels of hell ignited and my God, what a fire it was. Freaked me out so bad that at 10:30 PM flew to work and got on computer and went to webmd and there you have it. It has got to be the size of the Grand Canyon! I guess after 16 plus years of one stressfull situation after another it finally caught up to me! Tried making arrangements for the next two procedures EDG and colonoscopy but haven't heard a word yet. Afraid to eat anything! Can't go through that again. Hurry up pharmacy and fill that perscription! I take too many damn drugs! Gotta get off some of these meds!!!! All in good time grasshopper, all in good time!

You might also try backing off high glycemic index foods like potatoes. Those "mild" over starchy foods are something I try to cut back on. Do you like cauliflower?

What about cauliflower with cheese melted or sprinkled on it? What about lots of broccoli? I eat each bite dipped in a bit of white vinegar. Very delicious! Fresh fruits and veggies, lots of them. Also seafood!

My doctor told me ( while I was waiting to have my gastroscopy) to eat all foods with milk in them & drink lots of milk.

Thank you all, but I'm lactose intolerant and cheese triggers migraines. But have been eating some broccoli. Deathly allergic to all seafood and fish so that isn't an option! But thank you all for your support.
