Well, not even God can outsmart the laws of gravity. The flapjack landed yesterday, it's hot, golden brown and fresh off the griddle. After returning from ultra-sound Dr's. office called we want you back up here this afternoon...okay!
In other words, surgery, Monday 9:30 AM, gall bladder gone! Have to put the two other procedures on hold until healed properly about 2-3 weeks and then go from there.
Brother coming down day of surgery to be with me afterwards...good thing, because me and my mind set thought no problem I can get through this by myself, but after Dr's. visit and it sinking in realized I will need someone with me...besides Zeus, the carpenter, painters, electricians and plumbers. A good friend is going to take me up and wait for me to get through it all and then bring me home about the time my brother gets in. Once again, thank God for brothers!
Still feel like crap but at least I ate something yesterday! And I get an extended vacation! There is a cetain sense of calmness that has encompassed my body and soul with getting this over and done with.
