After spending the first seven hours of my shift on the verge of tears and then two hours of time spent with a person that I support at their job I realized that a decision had finally been reached. And this from the man that hates making decisions. I will be leaving this one-horse, backward town possibly as soon as Saturday or as late as September, but the main point is that I will not stay a minute longer than I have to. I will no longer accept the arrogant, ill-mannered, mental and emotional abuse of my relatives. As soon as the title to my Jeep is in my hand, it's the highway and so much for good-byes. I'll do what needs to be done, pack my Jeep, grab Zeus and lock the door and these so called family members will no longer have a chump to kick around. There is a certain sense of peace that has allowed itself to shine through, not much but some warmth and light has reached me and for that I'm eternally grateful.
