I went to the infectious disease consultant today and finally all three doctors agreed on one thing and that is to give me some time to regroup. Since I'm about 90-95% recovered he agreed to set up an appointment in three or four months for another MRI of the neck only, told him I couldn't be strapped into that thing and table for another two hours and if the thing that they were concerned about has changed or grown then a throat biopsy will be performed and we will go from there. If there is no change then he will sign off and it will finally be over with! Praise be to God!

I so need the time to not think about all of this and tomorrow it will be seven months since life exploded in my face and I can let the doctor bills die down for a while and have more money to send to my screaming creditors and just try to act normal once again! Hope springs eterenal!
