I went to the ENT yesterday and he didn't preform the biopsy. Thank God! Not sure I could have dealt with that today. We both looked at the films of the MRI and I saw what the radiologist was concerned about but after listening to doctor number three it was agreed upon that it wasn't necessary. He agreed with my general doctor to give it all a rest for another four to six months and have another MRI done on my throat and then if things have changed take the appropriate action.
So, now all I have to do is wait until July 1st, see the infectious disease consultant and see if he is willing to go along with doctors number one and three. I hope he feels the same and I can get some seperation from all of this. Seven months is a long time to be dealing with this. I don't understand how people with chronic illnessess can cope with it! My hat is off to all of you!
I guess it's just like everything else in life...you learn to accept it, do what is needed to do and try to move on as best as possible. I've had my share of shit in life but it's mostly been mental challanges to overcome, I've been blessed to have good health and am grateful for it.
Just another day Jon.
