  Okie-dokie, Smokie. I will take your word for it. Yes, thank God for tranquilizers! And for brothers, too! I have a brother I just love and am closest to. My two sisters, well that's another story. Hey! I got The Last Suppers yesterday!!!!!!!!!!! No time to read it for a while, but I GOT IT! Could hardly believe I got it so cheaply and so very fast. I will now be finishing my wild horse book and getting it ready to publish. I am also going to a festival to meet a (single) poetry man I've been emailing with. Two of his published poems are now in my book. Stay on those tranquilizers and Big Hugs to you.
  Are you REALLY coming to Santa Fe? Let me know.

  My brother came up from Palm Springs (lived there 6 years) and before that was in Seattle. Seattle can be depressing because of the rain and that is why my brother went to the other extreme (HOT) Palm Springs. After this is all over with my mom he will be moving back to the coast. He may be an ass to his family (no not always!) but I hear he is a wonderful friend....
  Thanks for the positive energy today! I just came in from picking cucumbers, squash, strawberries (I've eaten every one!) and tomatoes. It's been rainy from time to time this week so we got a little break from the intense watering.

  Jon, I got it! Last Suppers on Amazon where I usually buy books. A used copy, only $6.93 including shipping!
  WAHOO! Review does mention church, priest, miracles, so it's definitely it. Should be very interesting. No wonder you like her, since you were a chef. If I like her writing, I'll go on to more. I have read every single book by a writer called Abigail Padgett, and I have all of her books also. She writes about a child social worker in San Diego area who investigates crimes on the side mostly having to do with Native Americans and their lives. She is Bipolar also! I think that the author must be BP, too.

  I agree with you about feeling bad for all of the poor people that the bad economy has hurt, those out of jobs, those who lost their homes, etc., all because of the greediness of a few crooks and an inane "W"! Also, oh my gosh, Jon, you think about sex almost as much as I do! You better believe it. I was very attracted to a man recently, but he wasn't worth it at all, so all I did was make out with him a little and he's now gone from my life; he was a big liar and only wanted to get laid - and he didn't. LOL! But I may have a new prospect, or at least a new friend prospect...get this: a poet! One with a wonderful academic and published background. On, I shouldn't even mention this to anyone, but I am such a frigging romantic.

  Jon, I looked for the writer you told me about and I believe her name is Diane Mott Davidson. If you still have the book where she wrote about Chimayo, can you please tell me the name of it? This gal has written DOZENS of books and I like the idea that she is a CO caterer and investigates mysteries! I have bookmarked her Amazon book site on my PC
