Little Love
jk54cat (09/02/09)
Thank you so much, Jon, for your words of love and support...This has been a day full of tears and I am on my way over to put on mom's jammies. Today I ordered a hospital bed, bath bench, and toilet bars. Next, I will be moving a single bed in there with mom so that I can stay the night and help her during the night. You know the worries about falling...
Thank you again for your kindness,
Love and a well deserved huge hug,
Jan -

Hey, that was a great song, Jon! The drama shit, the medical "experts" tell me, is called mania. It is, they say, "just exaggerated feelings of anger and irritation." JUST? Doesn't every being on the face of this planet get angry, annoyed, and irritated sometimes? Why do they have to label every friggin' thing???? I am getting so that I hate labels. I also know that expressing our feelings is the very healthiest thing we can do for ourselves!
Love,

Well darling, thats good news that you still have a job & insurance 'til your other procedures are done. A day at a time, Jon. Crying in front of the boss may not have been a bad thing, in that it gave her the oppurtunity to behave like a human being. Don't worry about being further away from me. When the time is right I'll visit you wherever you are. I have friends in Seattle whom I fully intend to visit again some day. Distance is only an excuse for another great adventure. xoxox Thanks for the chocolate. We do have milk chocolate here, & white chocolate, but I prefer dark. xoxox

Another big hug for you and Zeus! I just read Decision Made. Jpn, let me tell you that when one door closes, another ALWAYS opens. We may just have to walk calmly down a hallway first.

Dear Jon, Well, I drove 100 miles to Mountainair, NM all by myself and stayed overnight in the hotel next to the pretty little park where the poetry reading was. I liked the poetry man, Gary. He and his best friend Jim were very nice people. Everyone I talked to there was just great. Gary went into great detail about how he and his best friend Jim went in together to buy a house because they figured that was the ONLY way they could buy one. They first did this in Los Angeles and then here in NM when they made a profit on the L.A. house. He emphasized that Jim was his best friend. He did not say that Jim was his partner. So I think he was trying to tell me that they were not gay. He explained that Jim's oldest daughter used to babysit his only child, an adopted daughter. He is a widower. I love his writing very much. I was not so physically attracted to him, but he is just a regular guy, and I know that this can change. He is exactly my age! I LOVE talking with him. He has invited me to come to a play he is in later this month. I had friends tell me that they MUST be gay because they bought a house together! My gay girlfriend, Donna, said "not necessarily." Also another friend, actually my housecleaner, who I explained all of this to said she did not think they were gay. So, I dunno. I really don't care! I just liked both of them and they were very friendly and I feel they are new friends of mine. After they left (Gary is recovering from surgery and was tired out), I went to a bar and had a Coors Lite with the locals. I watched "War of the Worlds" on TV that night. A movie had just been made there in the hotel dining room that I dined in. The ceiling of this room was awesome and I think that's why the film company chose this location. The film is "My One and Only" with Renee Zellweger and it just was released last week! I took lots of photos. I took three hours to drive home because I took lots of great photos on the way home. When I got home, I found that I was having a Fibromyalgia attack, which I am still recovering from. Guess I overdid it a bit. So I am resting and I will send some photos to Gary soon. He and Jim have gone to see Canyon de Chelly, a great archaeological ruin that I would give my eye teeth to see, as I love things like that. I guess that's it for now. Thank you for asking.
Big Hugs to both you and Zeus!!! -
