Well.... she made it thru Christmas at home, after spending the last 2 months almost exclusively in the hospital...let's add another complication of damage from the Remicade therapy she received when this first started oh so long ago...there are now issues with her brain, stroke like symptoms...so we now add rehab to the list of places and doctors to see, poor kid - just needs some slack cut to her, we are loosing ground in this whole education thing, I mean how much can the school keep giving in and postponing the requirements she needs for education. We have learned to take one day at a time, but, there is so much that she wants to do and just seems to not be able to do...I was foolish to think the j pouch would make things better, we may have to look back at an appliance, yet, even this won't take away the new complications, and she is getting thinner and thinner with each passing day. Here is hoping that 2009 will turn some new leaves and maybe so pleasant surprises.
