    • About Me

Treatment was a very long 48 weeks but, as has been said before, treatment is not fun but it is doable. I finished treatment on August 7th. My 3 month post treatment VL was negative and I hope to keep it that way.

    • Close Hepatitis C

Routine physical turned up elevated LFTs. Doc didn't want to check it out...I insisted. He said: "I am not surprised by anything but if you were to come back positive for Hep C, I would fall off my chair." Guess he fell - wonder if he broke anything. Most likely got it from a transfusion years and years ago. Type 1b, liver bx was grade 1/stage 1.

      Treatments

      Ribavarin Working / Worked
Seems to be working because my VL was undetectable at wk 4. Keeping my fingers crossed that it continues.
      Pegylated Interferon Working / Worked
