You gotta hear this one!
A dear friend is visiting me for the weekend. She went golfing this AM w/some old friends & mentioned my darling dog "Freddie" as being a sweet soul despite all his injuries & surgeries. Well, her friend asked "Is he a rescue dog?" To which she replied, "No,he's a Pekingese" ....they played several more holes before they realised what had transpired.lol. This from the very woman who just gave me a birthday card which reads" At your age you probably spend time thinking about the 'hereafter'.......especially when you go into a room and think ' what am I here after'???
I want to tell you all how much I appreciate all the advice & encouragement you've given me regarding my endoscopy next Friday. It's not as scary now.The week following I'll have those stomach emptying tests.
There's just one foster kitten enjoying Fancy Feast & endless toys in the "nursery" now. "Grayfeather" is a long haired grey & shadow beauty who gets her stitches out next week & will go to her new home soon. Found out yesterday that "Tiddles", the little kitten who didn't want to grow & always ran to greet me after her brothers went up for adoption, was adopted Monday. Such a darling little gentle kitten she was. I miss her greetings. Wishing you all a happy Labour Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ROFLMSS - I would have to think that the friend is not really up on dog breeds? That is so funny. I just love it.
Hope that the tests all go well and that they can get a good idea of what is going on in there and fix it. Must be the week for scopes as I have another friend on here who is having one - her's will be up and down and she will be almost asleep when they do it.
That is great news about the Tiddles I am really happy she has found a great home. Hope the rest will soon as well.

I am so happy to hear you are having the stomach emptying..and the upper endo I already had sweetie and you will go to sleep and feel nothing! Guess what..I am next in line along with the colonoscopy I am due for too ! YUK !! Remember! I will be right there with you holding your hand my dear friend !! Don't be afraid! I have been having a heck of a time not being able to eat with constant nausea and stomach pain ..we wil be ok! Diabetes is a horrible disease...hoping stem cell research comes up with something soon..I heard last week on TV they are soooo close..thank God..especially for the children born with diabetes!!!
You are such an ANGEL with your baby kitties..God Bless you! I am so proud to call you my sister-friend!! Greyfeather sounds so beautiful...and Blessings to little Tiddles..I am sure all your tender loving care will follow her and she will grow stronger each day! I love the cute names you come up with so fitting!!!

Too funny!!! I bet you do miss the greeting from that little baby kit. I would miss Ms Jenny if I no longer had her. Mr Larry is not feeling well, and is going to the doctor this afternoon. He is just laying around and not eating . started yesterday. Keep fingers crossed for us?? Tell Chance and all hi for Larry and Jenny!! Those tests will be a snap for you!! I never had the stomach emptying but I knowthe endo will go well for you. Hugs sandy
