I am a manager for a health insurance company. Been there 10 years now. Have been with my partner, David, for 20 years now. I was worried when I was first diagnosed as I am not normally very good at sharing feelings when something is wrong. This has been something new for both of us but he has been really good about it.

Hi Paul...long time (sorry). I just read your journal and I wanted to give you a hug. I sure know how hard it all is. I fell off ladders myself...now I don't even go up step ladders anymore. It's hard with all these restrictions eh? I'll have to email you soon. I've been having my ups and downs too. Take care. xox

Rrecently diagn with E.Decided not to take meds straight away and cons agreed this was best. 7 days later was rushed into hospital due to severe seizure.Was on meds which had already been changed and others added.Had such side effects have had to stop taking meds due to fevers,red spots/rash all over,dizziness. Since last episode head sore for 3 weeks, can't lie on left side of head due to dizziness,feels like it could push me off the bed.I know it sounds made up
Treatments
- Depakote Too Soon to Tell
- Just started another lot of new meds.On Epilim 9th June 08.Hope they work
- Lamictal Too Soon to Tell
- Have been taking it 5 days now and oly side effect, at the mo, seems to be dry skin.
- Tegretol Not Working
- Had to stop taking Teg due to the sever side effects I experienced. Tests now show It has affected my liver.
