46 yr old Substance Abuse Counselor/Psychology Student. I attend a support group to help me with my feelings of anger, frustrations, low self esteem. I also have a therapist that has helped me realize that it's okay to feel feelings, especially the uncomfortable ones such as anger, fear, sadness.....I have been clean for over 7 years and am very involved in a 12 Step Recovery Group.

Music, the beach, surfing. watching waves, riding my bike, fire works!! volunteering at Juvenile Hall and Mens Jail. And of course my 2 cats, Mrs Beasley and Buster!!!

Close Anger Management
After being clean for over 7 yrs, I sometimes will become frustrated with my feelings and then say things I regret.
Treatments
- Group Therapy Working / Worked
- 12 step groups, coed and men meetings, have been extremely helpful for me. I also have done major, intense regression therapy with my therapist for 12 yrs.
- Music Working / Worked
- When I download music such as Neil Young, Eddie Vedder, Pink Floyd, Madonna, Modest Mouse, The Cure, Silversun Pickups..I just become serene.
Close Stress Management
I'm a student, and currently in between jobs. I work as Substance Abuse Counselor. I have been clean for 7 years.
