I tried YAZ and thought it was awful! I switched to Seasonique and it worked for me. Good luck!

Close Endometriosis
I was diagnosed in Oct 06 with Endo after a lap.
Treatments
- Surgery Somewhat Helpful
- They could not get it all, some was attached to my uterus, and I still want to try to have children so they left that. I had stage 4/5.
Close Celiac Disease
I do not have this, my husband does. He was diagnosed Jan. 08. I am on here because I am supporting him, and I do most of the cooking.
Treatments
- Gluten Free Diet Working / Worked
Open Acne
Have had adult acne from the time I was 18. Got it all over my upper body. I was so ashamed I did not go to a doctor for years. Finally 3 years ago I went to a dermatologist and they put me on spironolactone to hinder the testosterone. It did wonders. I was on it for 2 1/2 years, my case is so bad. I am now trying to control it with Yaz, which I am on for endometriosis.
Treatments
- Dermabrasion Somewhat Helpful
- Helped reduce scarring on my chest/back. Too bad my insurance quit paying for it.
- Aldactone Working / Worked
- This worked wonders for me, I am surprised that other people aren't prescribed this. I am on Yaz right now and it is only half as helpful as the spironolactone. Too bad I can't take them in combination but I have to have the yaz for endo. I am sad that I had to come off the spironolactone, nothing else I have ever tried has come close to helping as much.
Open Oral Herpes
I have gotten these since a pre-teen. I also break out in my nose. What a pain.
Treatments
- Valtrex Working / Worked
- Started using this last year. It helps if you manage to take it right away.
Open Environmental Allergies
Type of allergy: DustI started getting symptoms in my late 20's. After having medicine after medicine thrust upon me by doctors, none of which helped, I got tested last month by an allergist. Funny how the doctors would rather give you a medicine than finding out what it is you are allergic to.
Treatments
- Allegra Not Working
- Allergy Shots Considering
- Clarinex Not Working
- Nasal Irrigation Not Working
- Nasonex Not Working
- Singulair Not Working
- Sudafed Not Working
- Started keeping me up at nights so I quit.
- Zyrtec Not Working
- Astelin Not Working
Open Trying To Conceive
