About Me
I am a bi-polar who also suffers with some OCD issues. I had a major back surgery (fusion of L4-L5) at the end of June 2009. I work full time in computer support. I have 2 grown children both girls 21 and 25 years old and a husband of 13 years. The youngest daughter, Kelsey is a college student and the oldest Melissa, lives in Texas and is a professional dog handler. She gave birth to my first grandchild a granddaughter in December of 2008. Most of my family lives in New Mexico. I love dogs! Magic is my 4 year old Doberman Pinscher female. She has her AKC CGC and CD as well as her Rally RN and RA titles. We also have "Sonia" doberman. She is 2 years old and is a rescue. She is the latest addition to our family.

Interests
Doberman Pinschers, dog training (obedience and rally), crocheting, reading, baseball, listening to music. I love cooking and trying new recipies and ingredients. I am also a Star Trek (original and STNG) fan.

Hi to you and your two beauties. We are doing really well. We welcomed our first grandchild on Oct. 8th. He's a beauty.

Ernie is looking sad. It is killing me. We go through all this suffering and then we do it again. He goes back to the vet next week, I hopr she has some good news for me and Ernie. Thanks for your concern NJ xo

Close Bipolar Disorder
Lately it's been hypomania that's been the problem. In the past it's always been severe depression. I have been on just tons of different drugs. I hate all the side effects.
Treatments
- Depakote Working / Worked
- This is currently what's working for me. Yeah!
Close Tooth Grinding
I grind my teeth throughout the day, more when I am stressed at work especially. It drives me nuts!
Treatments
- Mouthguard Not Working
- In the past I had a mouthguard and it was problematic as it was very difficult to wear it at work during the day.
Open Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
I am a counter. I obsess over the number 9 and all its multiples. I avoid 13 and all its multiples.
Open Back Pain
Nothing has worked. About to give up and have a spinal fusion.
